After ordering from our website you will receive a Hire Agreement by email, you will need to print this agreement out and sign the agreement and give it to us when we deliver our hire equipment.

Conditions Of Hire: (Frozen Slushy)

  • Customer to supply all Base Spirits.
  • Customer to supply a sturdy table (no trestle tables) or surface for frozen slushy machine(s) (as they weigh 85kg once filled) and a convenient power point. Our machines are not to be move once setup by a Cool Sounds Party & Events Hire technician so ensure to choose the correct place first time.
  • Temperature: Frozen slushy machines function best at ambient temperatures below 27.5°C. The reliability of the machine(s) cannot be guaranteed if the ambient temperature around the machine(s) is above 27.6°C. It is recommended that frozen cocktail machines are used indoors in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
  • If the Customer requests extra cocktail mix to refill the machine the balance must be paid when the hire unit is collected current cost is $25 per refill.

Conditions Of Hire: (Jukebox)

  • Our Jukeboxes are not to be move once setup by a Cool Sounds Party & Events Hire technician so ensure to choose the correct place first time.
  • Customer is responsible for any damages to microphone, jukebox or property.
  • We don’t guarantee to have the entire music tracks you request.

Conditions Of Hire: (General)

  • Our machine(s) must be accessible between deliveries and pick up times. Strictly 8am – 5:00pm. If machine is not accessible on arrival, delivery or pickup for the driver, a late fee of $100.00 may be incurred.
  • Malfunction of Machine: All machines are checked at time of delivery. In the event of a machine malfunctioning due to mechanical or electrical failure (not including failure of main power supply at any time) during the first hour of a function, a backup will be delivered if available. If a back up machine is not available, the total hire cost will be refunded.
  • If the malfunction(s) of the machine(s) is/are caused by the customer or any other person not following the operational procedures in a correct manner or any of the switches on the machine(s) have been accidentally or intentionally switched off a $100.00 call out fee will apply if an Cool Sounds Party & Events Hire technician attends to rectify the malfunction.
  • The Customer agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified Cool Sounds Party & Events Hire against liability in respect to any suits, claims, actions, demands, costs, loss (including loss of profit) or damages arising directly or indirectly out of the hire or use of the equipment by the Customer whether caused by the negligence of the Customer or any other person.

The Hiring Agency, Cool Sounds Party & Events Hire will not be responsible for any loss whatsoever, in the event of any malfunction occurring.

I acknowledge receipt of the Hire Equipment and agree that:

  • I have inspected the Hire Equipment and consider it to be in good order and condition.
  • I understand the method of operation of the equipment and shall not try to avoid liability for damage on the grounds of not being familiar with operational procedures.
  • I shall ensure that the Hire Equipment is not used by a third party.
  • I undertake to return the Hire Equipment in good condition on or before the due date and also agree that the equipment is returnable earlier by mutual agreement.
  • Only Cool Sounds Party & Events Hire products are to be used with Hire Equipment. Cocktail Mixes are to be prepared according to directions on bottle label or as directed by supplier.
  • I agree to accept complete responsibility for the Hire Equipment until returned and agree to pay any repairs necessary or the current market value in the event of theft or loss of or damage to the Hire Equipment while hired, whether due to my negligence or not.

The supplier shall refer to as Cool Sounds Party and Event Hire, the hirer shall refer to as the hirer.

  • The hirer enters into a contract and agrees and accepts the terms and conditions from the date they make a booking with the supplier.
  • A $50 non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This can be made by EFT, Visa, Mastercard or Paypal which incurs a 3% surcharge.
  • The balance may be made 24 hours prior to the event via EFT, Visa, Mastercard or Paypal however the only method of payment on the day is cash.
  • Cancelled bookings 48 hours prior to the event incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within a 48 hour period incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • A $100 bond may be required for photo booth props.
  • Hire is for one day unless otherwise agreed on. Inability for the driver to access the equipment for pickup will incur a further daily charge for any days beyond the agreed period.
  • The hirer accepts full responsibility for the equipment while in their possession. The hirer is liable for any loss or damage while the equipment is in their possession.
  • The hirer is responsible to have someone available over the age of 18 years to accept delivery within the agreed timeframe. If there is no access an additional delivery fee may be required.
  • The hirer shall arrange to have a suitable solid table at the time of delivery to support 85Kg for slushie machines, note trestle tables are not acceptable. A direct power source is required and not connected to a power board. Note a single extension cord is acceptable. The hirer shall ensure that the area where the Juke box and/ or photo booth is to be connected is flat and clear of glass doors. A direct power source is required and not connected to a power board.
  • All cocktail mix arrives non alcoholic and the hirer accepts full responsibility in the responsible service of alcohol if alcohol is added.
  • If the hirer requests a cocktail refill, this will incur a $25 fee payable on pickup of the machine.
  • Slushie machines are to be located in a well ventilated, shady environment and not in direct sunlight. The machines function correctly at an ambient temperature below 27.5C. the reliability of the machine above this temperature cannot be guaranteed.
  • The supplier is not responsible if the slushie leaks staining carpets, benchtops or tables. A suitable sheet is to be supplied by the hirer at the time of drop off.
  • Once set up by the supplier, no equipment may be moved by the hirer without prior consent.
  • If any machine malfunctions due to user error a $100 callout fee will apply.
  • The hirer assumes proper knowledge in the operation and handling of the equipment and follows OH&S policies and does not hold Supplier responsible for any injury caused to themselves or others whilst moving or setting up any equipment.
  • Cool Sounds Party and Events Hire offers a 100% money back guarantee, this is at the discretion of the Cool Sounds Party and Events Hire management.
  • The hirer is responsible to have someone available over the age of 18 years to accept delivery within the agreed timeframe. If there is no access an additional delivery fee may be required.
  • The hirer shall arrange to have a suitable solid table at the time of delivery to support 85Kg for slushie machines, note trestle tables are not acceptable.   • For Collection, Cool Sounds shall arrange a time with the hirer on the day of delivery for the following day unless otherwise arranged.

The hirer accepts full responsibility for the equipment while in their possession. The hirer is liable for any loss or damage while the equipment is in their possession.

Cancelled bookings 48 hours prior to the event incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within a 48 hour period incur a 100% cancellation fee.
